Poison brings Predator engineering to cues with a visual identity of their own.

The current Maelith, Candy and VX families use Venom carbon fiber shafts. Candy pairs rounded color panels with silver carbon; Maelith takes a darker, angular direction.

VX changes the purpose: dedicated break and jump/break configurations with a tactile grip and phenolic tip.

A NOTE ON GENERATIONS

Older Poison models can use different shafts and joints. Match the exact model before choosing replacement parts.

05 / BEFORE CHOOSING

Get the
details straight.

Purpose. Shaft. Joint.
A few checks before the next cue.

01Who makes Poison pool cues?+

Poison is a brand engineered by Predator. Its range includes playing cues and dedicated break and jump/break models.

02Which cue is for regular play?+

Maelith and Candy are playing cues. The selected VX models use phenolic tips and are designed for breaking or jump/break use.

03How are VX Break and Jump/Break different?+

The selected VX Break has a two-piece construction. VX Jump/Break has three pieces, allowing a shorter jump configuration.

04Is a Venom shaft the same as a REVO?+

No. The current Venom carbon fiber shaft is a separate product from Predator’s REVO line. Compare the specifications for the exact model.

05Will a new shaft fit an older Poison cue?+

Check the joint on both parts before buying. Poison has used different joints across generations; the brand name alone does not establish compatibility.
